Schorta's Alvetern Hotel and Restaurant is located at the entrance to Ardez.
The impressive mountain scenery, the tranquility, and the personal commitment of the Schorta family promise relaxing holidays in the Lower Engadine.
Schorta's Alvetern has been owned by the Schorta family since 1976.
From a small guesthouse with 10 beds, the house has since developed into a small, stylish hotel with 25 beds.
In 2004/05, the restaurant and dining room were renovated in two phases.
The stylish rooms are modern and bright, inviting you to linger.
A handsome facade, a new kitchen, a reception area, and a guest lounge are planned.
The Castle Hall
The setting is stylish, cozy, and functional. The dishes are a poem. In this carefully renovated dining room, you will be pampered with every detail. Warm colors, atmospheric lighting, beautiful parquet floors, festively set tables, and personalized service will immediately win you over. Enjoy imaginative Graubünden cuisine, lovingly prepared by Fadri Schorta and his team. By the way, the "Burgsaal" is smoke-free!
The Art Room
A culinary delight and Engadin flair amidst local art.
The cozy restaurant with its corner benches invites you to linger in the afternoon for coffee and cake. The work of local artists and the lovingly garnished dishes appeal to all the senses and give the room a touch of Engadin romance.
Our hotel is located in a quiet location at the entrance to Ardez. Nestled in an unspoiled mountain landscape, protected by the "Steinsberg" Castle and surrounded by beautiful Engadin houses, we invite you to spend an unforgettable vacation.
In our massage studio, we will help you relax. Whether after an exciting day of winter sports or a long hike, enjoy relaxing moments and simply let yourself be pampered.
Ms. Flütsch, our certified masseuse, is happy to welcome you every Wednesday or by appointment.
At Schorta's Alvetern, we attach great importance to using local products wherever possible.
We don't want to conjure up dishes, but rather offer dishes that are delicious and natural.
